When Tyler and Eric are planning their yearly summer bash, they expect to have 100 hits of ecstasy on hand to insure a night to remember. Complications arise when Tyler discovers his regular drug connection, Heffy, has let him down once again, this time on the day of the party with several beautiful girls and soon-to-be disgruntled partygoers waiting in the wings. In an attempt to remedy the situation Heffy contacts Jamie, an alternate supplier, who unfortunately for everyone concerned, tries to obtain the E through Tyler, the guy originally looking to score.
Tyler unknowingly seals his own fate by sarcastically telling Jamie he will gladly hook her up with the ecstasy once he gets it from his supplier, fueling a circular drug deal that is unbreakable until one of these three divergent personalities is willing to give up their source. |
On the surface "The Threeway" may appear to be a drug story, but it is important to note that the satirical point of view from which we approach this material in no way glorifies drug use, but rather focuses, in a comedic way, on the inherent ineptness in the various sub-cultures that use and abuse drugs. This is the heart of our message. |
